Sliding Scale $30-$60
Acupuncture is Affordable, Effective Health Care
Preparing For Your Treatment

  • We practice distal point acupuncture, which means patients do not need to undress. Points on the lower arms, lower legs, ears, and/or head are able to treat the entire body. Please wear clothing that can comfortably expose to your elbows and knees.

  • Safely distanced treatments are offered in comfy recliners with soft music. Like yoga and meditation, acupuncture benefits from the group energy created by treating several people at once.

  • We are a scent-free office. We ask that you refrain from using any perfumes or heavily- scented products.

  • Our sliding scale is $30-$60 per visit, with an extra $20 fee for the first visit. Because our goal is to get the best possible results, we'd rather see you twice a week and have you pay $30 or $35 than to have you come once a week and pay $60. We do not accept any insurances, but we are happy to provide coded receipts of your payment history if you'd like to submit them to your own insurance company.

  • Existing patients can make appointments online or by phone. New patients must call for an appointment.

Our clients and community value what we offer, and their referrals keep our clinic strong. We’re also proud to be part of the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA), a national group of acupuncturists working for affordability and access.

Cancellation Policy: In order for us to keep our fees accessible, we need at least 24 hours notice to change or cancel any appointments so that we have a chance to fill that appointment. All changes within 24 hours will be charged $30, unless we are able to reschedule you for a different time the same day. Patients will keep a credit card on secure file with us so that we may charge for missed appointments.

For Safety

  • Starting June 12th, 2023, masks will be optional for patients. As of now, well-fitting masks will continue to be worn by staff.

  • Our HVAC unit is equipped with a new UV filtration system, which, besides deactivating viruses and bacteria in the air, adds the extra benefit of eliminating allergens, dust, and mold.

  • Any patients who are experiencing flu-like symptoms or who have been exposed to COVID19 or anyone with suspicious symptoms must refrain from coming in for 10 days from the onset of these symptoms or after a negative COVID19 test.

Our Values

Compassion    Diversity    Justice   Community

Everyone is welcome here, regardless of gender or gender identity, race, national origin, age, income, ability or disability, marital status or familial situation, religion, size and shape, sexual orientation, or political beliefs.

Today and Every Day, Black Lives Matter

“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.”
― James Baldwin

  • Our clinic and staff acknowledge the ongoing tragedy and injustice of systemic racism, and commit ourselves to being part of the solution.

  • We endorse this statement made by our co-op, the People's Organization for Community Acupuncture. Because we know diversity in our field will bring affordable acupuncture to more black and brown communities, we support the POCA Tech Scholarship Fund for people of color studying to become community acupuncturists.
